Our research is intended to be useful and reusable, subject to privacy, provider terms and the licence attached to each work.
Our material
Unless a page or repository says otherwise, Maiyo Research Institute’s original explanatory text and research materials are intended for reuse with attribution. The specific licence attached to a dataset, repository or download controls that material.
Open-source software
Software used to build the platform may be open source. Each repository and dependency keeps its own copyright and licence notices. Open-source licensing applies to code; it does not automatically make personal information, user accounts or third-party data public.
Third-party data and media
Biodiversity observations, recordings, images, taxonomic information and other material may be supplied by third-party sources. Their original licences, attribution requirements and usage terms continue to apply. Please follow the source link and licence shown with the material before downloading, redistributing or commercializing it.
